PATUAKHALI: Two separate sedition cases have been filed against 36 BNP leaders including district BNP general secretary MA Rob Miah in the district.

Sadar Thana sub-inspectors (SI) Shafiul and Pravah filed the cases on Tuesday.

The Thana’s officer-in-charge (OC) M Ziaul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

But, district BNP organizing secretary and also former public prosecutor (PP) Advocate M Mujibur Rahman Toton claimed that the cases are the conspiracy against them.
