DHAKA: BNP on Wednesday vehemently protested and condemned the chargesheet against 32 including the party’s senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman saying that it violates political decency.
BNP spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon made the condemnation at a press conference at party’s central office in city’s Nayapaltan area.
Earlier on August 25, the chargesheet was submitted at a Gazipur district court.
However, the party also demanded a free and fair national election with the participation of all political parties as 2014 national election was boycotted by some major parties.
BNP also blamed the government agents for creating violence across the country to undermine BNP-led 20-party alliance called demonstrations in the country.
