DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned home from Singapore after treatment on Monday night.

He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in a Singapore Airlines flight around 10:50pm.

BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

BNP vice chairman Abdullah Al Noman, chairperson’s adviser Shamsuzzman Dudu, International Affairs Secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon, Self Reliant Affairs Secretary Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, assistant office secretaries Abdul Latif Jany, Shamimur Rahman Shamim, Asadul Karim Shahin and BNP leader Imran Saleh welcomed Mirza Fakhrul at the airport.
 
On July 26, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir left Dhaka for Singapore for better treatment, days after released on bail.

He took treatment at National University Hospital in Singapore. Then he went to US to take further treatment at a New York hospital.

After a 40-day stay there, the BNP secretary general returned to Singapore on September 20.
