BOGRA: A Jubo League, a front organization of ruling Awami League (AL), activist was stabbed to death at Hazradighi Bazar area of the Sadar upazila.

The deceased was identified as Milon Hossain, 35, son of one Abdul Karim, hailed from Hazradighi Talukder Para of the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Sadar Thana sub-inspector (SI) Mosaddeq told banglanews that they detained a woman, Rajena Bagum, 45, in this connection.

He further said miscreants stabbed Milon at the area Sunday evening, leaving him injured critically.

He was first taken to Mohammad Ali Govt. Hospital. But, Milon succumbed to his injuries on way to from there shifted to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital, he added.
