TANGAIL: Food and Disaster Management Minister Dr Abdur Razzak Wednesday said the country belongs to the people of this country rather than any particular group.

"People of this country with different religion and professional background shed blood for Bangladesh. The country is for all," said the minister.

He was addressing a programme in observance of Janmashtami - birth anniversary of Sree Krishna- here.

Suvash Chandra Saha, President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and Organizing Secretary of the district Awami League, presided over the programme.  

Deputy Commissioner M Bazlul Karim Chowdhury, Acting Police Super Jamil Hasan, former MP and district Awami League President Shamsur Rahman Khan attended.
