DHAKA: A meeting of Awami League Parliamentary Board (ALPB) will be held on Sunday at Prime Minister's official residence Gonobhaban.

The ruling party has convened the meeting to choose a candidate for by-election at Moulvibazar-3 parliamentary constituency, the party sources said.
 
Prime Minster and also president of the Awami League Parliamentary Board Sheikh Hasina will chair the meeting.

AL joint secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif MP called upon all concerned to attend the meeting on time.

The parliamentary seat fell vacant after death of Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali.  On September 13, the minister died at a Singapore hospital.

On October 29, the Election Commission has announced the schedule for by-polls for Moulvibazar-3, fixing December 8 for voting.
