PATUAKHALI: Police recovered dead body of Patuakhali Sramik Dal vice-president Mizanur Rahman Babu near to Grameen Bank in Amtoli upazila on Friday.

Amtoli Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Pulok Chandra told banglanews that the body of the leader bore injury mark in its neck.

But family sources of the BNP leader said he came out of house on Thursday night and did not return. His mobile handset also found switched off at night.

Later in the morning, they were informed about recovery of dead body of Babu, the source added.
