Saghata unit Jamaat ameer arrested

GAIBANDHA: Police arrested Jamaat-e-Islami Saghata upazila unit ameer Ibrahim Ali in Gaibandha district.

He was arrested from Kanaipara Dakhil Madrasa of the upazila Tuesday afternoon (January 26).

Saghata Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mostafizur Rahman told banglanews that the arrestee was an accused in a violence case.

On information, police arrested him as he was a fugitive for a long, the OC added.
