DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday (April 21) granted bail to seven BNP leaders, including secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee member Mirza Abbas, in a sabotage case filed with Ramna Thana in city.

The court of metropolitan session judge Qamrul Hasan Molla pronounced the order after they surrendered to the court and appealed for bail.

Fakhrul’s lawyer Joynul Abedin Mesbah confirmed about the bail to banglanews.

He further said the case was field with Raman police station in December of 2013.

The court also fixed May 26 as the date of hearing on framing charges of the case, he added.
