GAIBANDHA: Police arrested eight people including a Jamaat activist conducting special drive at seven upazilas of the district.

The drive was conducted from last night to this morning (July 15).

District Police Control Room Operator Asaduzzaman Asad informed banglanews that the arrestees were fugitive and accused in arrest warrant, theft, snatching, vandalism, sabotage and other cases.

District Additional Police Super Faruque Ahmed told banglanews that the arrestees will be sent to the jail by the court.
