DHAKA: Bangladesh Chhatra Union will demonstrate across the country on Wednesday (July 20) protesting the continuous terror attack and pact to build Rampal power plant.

General Secretary of the organization GM Jilani Shubho declared the program in a press briefing at Modhur Canteen of Dhaka University (DU) in city on Monday (July 18).

They also set to confine district Education officers’ workplace on Thursday after handing over a memorandum to education minister Nurul Islam Nahid protesting the irregularities in HSC admission.

Jilani Shubho on behalf of the organization condemned the terror attack in Gulshan in city and Sholakia in Kishoreganj.

Regarding the Rampal Project, he said the government is continuing the project denying the advice of specialists and scientists.

Central committee president Lucky Akhter, DU unit president Liton Nandi and General secretary Tuhin Kanti Das, among others, were present.
