3 Jamaat men among 45 held in Rangpur

RANGPUR: Police arrested 45 accused in several cases including three activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami from eight upazilas of the district early Wednesday (July 28).

Confirming the matter, senior assistant police super of Rangpur (B-Circle) M Saifur Rahman told banglanews that the arrestees are wanted in sabotage, theft-robbery and anti-terrorism cases.

The court sent them to Rangpur jail, he added.
