RANGPUR: Police arrested 45 accused including three charge-sheeted accused conducting drives at eight upazilas of the district.

The drives were conducted from Wednesday night to Thursday (July 28) morning.  

Police said that the arrestees are warranted accused by court and their names are listed in the charge sheet. They were also charged in sabotage, theft-robbery and other cases.

Rangpur Senior Assistant Police Super (ASP B-Circle) Saifur Rahman told banglanews that the arrestees were warranted accused by the court. Police could not arrest them as they were at large for long.

They have been sent to the jail by the court this morning, he added.
