RAJSHAHI: Police, in an overnight drive, detained 35 people including five Shibir activists from Rajshahi metro on Monday (August 8).

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) spokesman and also Rajpara zone assistant commissioner (AC) Ifte Khair Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said they were detained in a special anti-terrorist operation in the city.

Besides, sharp weapons were recovered from their possession, he added.
