DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) chairman HM Ershad announced a 77-member central executive committee for the party.

The names of committee were disclosed to the media on Sunday (August 14) through press release.

According to the release, the committee was comprised of presidium members, vice-chairmen, organizing secretaries and other posts.

Earlier on May 14, the party councilors gave JP chairman the power to form central executive committee.

The committee included Mostafizur Rahman Mustafa and Mohammad Shawkat Chowdhury MP as vice-chairmen and Mohammad Shafiullah Shafi, Monowar Alam, Shah-e-Azam, AKM Abdur Rouf Manik, Abdul Hamid Bhashani and Fakhrul Ahsan Shahjada as organizing secretaries.
