DHAKA: A city court on Wednesday (August 17) remanded four female members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) for five days each.

Metropolitan Magistrate Pranab Kumar Hui passed the order

The accused are Manarat University Pharmacy Department fourth-year students Aklima Rahman, Mou and Meghna; and Dhaka Medical College and Hospital intern doctor Oishee.

The four members were arrested from different areas in city early Tuesday (August 16).

The law enforcers seized huge amount of books, audios and videos containing jihadist ideology.
