4 JU BCL men suspended

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: Four activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit have been suspended for their misbehavior with journalists.

They also have to response within seven days why they should not be suspended permanently from the party.

A press release in this regards has been issued signed by university unit BCL president and general secretary on Thursday (August 25).

The suspended men are Public Administration department student 42th batch Shahrukh Shahriar and Habibullah Habib; Economics department 42th batch student Nazmul Barun and Finance and Banking department 43th batch student Saikat Muhammad Abdullah.

All are the residents of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of the university.

On Wednesday (August 24) they tried to beat a university correspondent with an iron rod while the journalist was on duty in front of Social Science Faculty.

The BCL activists also misbehaved with university journalist association leaders while they tried to discuss about this matter.
