DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia paid tribute to former president and also founder of the party Ziaur Rahman by placing floral wreaths at his grave in city on Thursday morning (September 1).

She paid the tribute on the occasion of 38th founding anniversary of the party.

BNP vice-chairman Selina Rahman, secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee members Barrister Moudud Ahmed, ASM Hanna Shah and Mirza Abbas, among others, were present at the event.
