DHAKA: Prime Minister and also ruling Awami League president has unanimously been reelected as the party president for eighth time in the party’s 20th national council.

Besides, road transport and bridges minister and also AL presidium member Obaidul Quader has been made the party’s general secretary.

The decision was made on the second and concluding day of the national council held at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) on Sunday afternoon (October 23).

Earlier, the national council began on October 22.
