DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has appointed Jubo Dal vice-president Albert P Costa as acting president of the party’s associate body.

Albert replaced former president Moazzem Hossain Alal who has submitted a resignation letter to party chief after being elected as joint secretary general of BNP.

Jubo Dal central leader Gias Uddin Al Mamun confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Wednesday night (October 26).

The move came as according to the new constitution of BNP one leader cannot hold more than one position.
