DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, a student wing of BNP, will demonstrate on Friday (November 18) in districts and metropolitans in protest of the arrest warrant issued Thursday against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The announcement came after the arrest warrant was issued on Thursday (November 17).

Jubo Dal central executive committee member Gias Uddin Mamun confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Mazharul Islam issued the warrant against Khaleda Zia on Thursday (November 17) as she did not appear before the court denying the court summon.

Earlier on August 30, former joint general secretary of journalist Union Gazi Jahirul Islam filed a case against Khaleda Zia for celebrating fake birthday on August 15, the national mourning day.
