DHAKA: Activists of Chatra Shibir, student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, brought out a brisk procession in capital’s Mohakhali area on Thursday morning.

Police sources said that around 15 to 20 activists, from the protest procession, blasted four to five cocktails at around 9:30 am in the area.

On information, police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control. Two Shibir men were picked up from the spot.

Banani Thana Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Mainul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
