Gazi MM Amjad Hossain Milon, former lawmaker from Sirajganj-3 constituency, died at a hospital in Sirajganj on Sunday.

Amzad Hossain, the president of Tarash upazila Awami League, breathed his last around 11:00am while undergoing treatment at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital.

Hosne Ara Lovely, daughter of the deceased, confirmed the news.

Milon was admitted to the hospital on Saturday with various complications, she said.
