A Dhaka court issued arrest warrants against BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and BNP Rajshahi division organizing secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu in a case filed under the Shahbagh Special Powers Act.

On Monday, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh issued the order after taking the charge sheet into cognizance.

Additional Public Prosecutor Tapas Kumar Pal of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court confirmed the matter.

The court accepted the charge sheet filed against them and also issued arrest warrants, he said.
