DHAKA: Opposition BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed categorically said people are eagerly waiting to paralyze the country through movement if election schedule is declared under incumbent government.

He came up with the claim while addressing a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office at 11:40am Saturday.

Rizvi cautioned that no election would be allowed to be held under the illegal poll-time government as it as was unconstitutional.  

He also said that the government wanted to assume power stepping on bodies of opposition leaders and activists.

BNP Joint Secretary General also alleged that with a view to grabbing power next, the government had already taken the control of the administration.

But people with opposition won’t give any scope to fulfill the wish of the present government, he added.
