CHITTAGONG: Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested Labour Party port city president Alauddin on charge of subversive activities.

He was arrested from Halishahar area of the city and handed over to Halishahar Thana on Thursday afternoon.

City Detective Police Additional Commissioner Banaj Kumar Majumdar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Alauddin is performing duty of joint convener of 18-party port city unit.
