KUSHTIA: Law enforcers nabbed some 20 BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists from different areas of the district on Thursday night.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) in Kushtia Sohel Reza said law enforcers of seven upazilas of the district detained 20 BNP-Jamaat men for their alleged involvement of planning for sabotage.

Criticizing the police action, general secretary of the district BNP Principal Sohrab Uddin told banglanews that police held the party leaders and activists as part of a countrywide repression and torture to the opposition men.
