HABIGANJ: Home Minister MK Alamgir categorically said next general election would be held in proper time.

He also warned that those who would interrupt the elections would be prevented.

Awami League lawmaker came up with the assertions in a civil society rally at District Parishad Auditorium, situated in Rajnagar of the district on Saturday noon.

Veteran politician also said that the trial of the persons involved with the killing of former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria would be completed soon.

Among others, Advocate Abu Zahir MP, Advocate Abdul Majid Khan, Awami League organizing secretary Advocate Mijbah Uddin Siraj, Divisional Inspector General of Police MAkbul Hossain Bhuiyan and Superintendent of Police Kamrul AMin addressed the rally.
