India won the toss and chose to field first in the Asia Cup final against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

The venue has witnessed five previous T20Is between the two rivals, with every match won by the chasing side. India enter the contest with confidence, having already defeated Pakistan twice in this tournament—once in the group stage and again in the Super Four.

India secured their place in the final with a 41-run win over Bangladesh on Wednesday, while Pakistan booked their spot with an 11-run victory against the same opponents the following day.

At the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav confirmed that Hardik Pandya was unavailable due to a minor injury, with Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh also missing out. Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube have been drafted into the playing XI. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha announced an unchanged lineup.
