DHAKA: Sachin Tendulkar arrived at the city Tuesday morning on a day-visit upon the invitation of private sports club ‘Legends of Rupganj’ formerly known as Gazi Tank Cricketers.
A special fight, carrying the little baluster, landed on Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:00am.
Assistant commissioner of police (ASP) Shahanaj Begun of the airport’s Immigration police confirmed the matter to banglanews.
During the visit, the batting maestro will spend times with the club’s players, attended a press conference and joined some social activities.
This is Sachin’s first visit to Bangladesh after ending his illustrious career in cricket.
