Mild heat wave likely to continue

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that the ongoing mild heat wave would continue in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours from 9 am today (Mar 13).

According to the met office bulletin, the mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Chattogram, Rangamati, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Sylhet and it may continue.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 37.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and Rangamati while the minimum temperature was 15.1 degrees at Srimangal today.

The sun sets at 6.07 pm today and rises at 6.09 am tomorrow in the capital.
