Three bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from Bandarban's Rowanchari hills.

The bodies were recovered from Paikxyong Para area of the upazila on Monday (May 8) afternoon.

According to locals, there was a gunfire incident between two armed groups this morning. This can be the reason behind death.

Rawangchari Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Legal proceedings are underway in this regard, he added.
