Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained four members of the newly surfaced militant group 'Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya', including its Dawah wing chief, from Sylhet.

The arrestees include Abdullah Maimun, Dawah wing chief and the sura members of the militant outfit.

The media wing of RAB-9 confirmed the matter. 

They were detained on Monday (May 8) night, said the media wing of RAB-9.

All the four militants were arrested from Boroshala Bazar area in Bandar upazila, Rab said.

They said that the detailed information will be disclosed during a press briefing at RAB-9 Sylhet headquarters Tuesday (May 9).
