N’ganj road accident kills 3

NARAYANGANJ: Three people including two college students were killed in a road accident at Araihazar upazila of the district on Thursday night.

The deceased are CNG driver Alek Mia, 40, son of Salim Uddin of Rupganj, Robin, 25, son of Lal Mia and Rakib, son of Mojibur Mia of Panchduna. Robin and Rakib are cousin and student of Narsingdi College.

Sources said a CNG-run auto rickshaw collided head on with a pickup van on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at around 9:00pm, leaving three dead on the spot and injured two others.

Araihazar Thana inspector (investigation) Harun-ur-Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
