Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a Bangladeshi youth along Amtali border of Dinajpur's Chirirbandar upazila on Tuesday (May 17) morning.

The Deceased was identified as Manzurul Islam, 22, son of Mojibor Rahman, a resident of Shahpur Kamarpara area of the upazila.

The family of the deceased claimed that Manzurul might was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF). 

However, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) did not confirm the matter.

Chiribandar Police Station officer-in-charge Bajlur Rashid confirmed the matter 

He said there were four bullet marks on the body of the youth.

Legal action is under process in this regard, the OC added.
