Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 13 gamblers, in a drive on Saturday (May 21) night. 

They were arrested from Sholoshahar rail station area under Panchliash thana in the city.

Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Panchliash thana confirmed the matter to Banglanews

He said the raid was carried out at 12 am midnight on Saturday. During the drive, materials including playing cards used for gambling and Taka 5,730 were recovered from their possession,.

Regular cases have been filed against them with Panchliash thana, the OC added.
