Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) predicted rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (June 26). 

According to the Met office bulletin, “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over southern part of the country."

The day and night temperature may may fall slightly over the country, it added.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 36.1 degree Celsius in.

The highest rainfall was recorded 67mm at Hatiya and Teknaf in the last 24 hours till 6am today.

The sun sets at 6:50 pm today and rises at 5:12am tomorrow in the capital.
