Two members of the United States Congress are coming to Bangladesh on a four-day visit on August 12.

According to information, one of them is Democratic Congressman Ed Case and the other is Republican Congressman Richard McCormick.

Foreign ministry sources confirmed the matter.

The Congress delegation during their stay will visit Rohingya refugee camps. There will be meetings with refugee relief and repatriation and UN agencies in Rohingya camps. It will monitor the overall situation including the financial condition of the Rohingyas, according to the source.

After returning to Dhaka, they would meet with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen. Members of the team will also meet with various political parties in Bangladesh, said sources.

Recently several US delegations visited Dhaka. US State Department Global Anti-Corruption Coordinator Richard Nephew arrived in Bangladesh on a three-day visit on August 6-8.
