A worker died after falling from an under constructed building in the capital on Monday (August 21).

The incident took place at Meradia Baganbari area at 5 pm.

The deceased Rubel Mia, 22, was a rod worker, son of Md. Taherul Islam from Fulchari village of Gaibandha.

However, injured Rubel first was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 7:30 p.m. where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
