Two persons were killed as a truck hit their motorcycle in Kishoreganj's Karimganj upazila on Monday (Sep 4) morning.

The deceased were identified as Hafizur Rahman Hashem, 31, and Somrat Mia, 37.

Md Mazharul Islam, sub-inspector of Karimganj Police Station confirmed the matter.

He said a truck rammed the bike around 10:00am, leaving both of them dead on the spot.

Police seized the truck but the driver managed to flee the scene, he said, adding that case was lodged with the police station.
