PM Sheikh Hasina to contest from Gopalganj-3 constituency

Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) president Sheikh Hasina will contest from Gopalganj-3 constituency in the upcoming general election.

AL general secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday (November 26) announced the names of the party's nominees for 300 parliamentary seats ahead of the 12th parliamentary election.

However, the names of the candidates for Narayanganj-5 and Kushtia-2 constituencies were not announced.

He started announcing the names at the Awami League central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka at about 4:15pm.
