DHAKA: Police fired blank shot to disperse agitated people as they started vandalizing the Jamuna Future Park building following the death of motorcyclist after shutter fall on him Tuesday noon.

Witnesses said that following the accident, victim’s family members vandalized the market building.

On information, police rushed in and fired 10-15 rounds of bullets to bring the situation under control.

Earlier in the morning, a motorcyclist was killed as a shutter from under construction building of Jamuna Future Park collapsed on him in front of North South University in the city.
