The metro rail service from Uttara North to Motijheel resumed today (February 4) after being halted due to a signaling error.
MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) confirmed the matter.
He said there were problems with the electricity supply, leading to the suspension.
Earlier, Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan, Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line-1) Deputy Project Director (Mass Communication) said the entire Metro rail service was suspended this afternoon due to a technical glitch in the signaling system.
