Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday (March 22) arrested nine people including an official of Shohoz dot com for allegedly black-marketing train tickets.

The elite force arrested them from Kamalapur and Sabujbagh areas of the capital.

RAB during a press briefing at its office in the capital disclosed the identities of the arrestees as Mizan Dhali, 48, the alleged kingpin of the syndicate; his nephew Sohel Dhali, 30; Md Sumon, 39; Jahangir Alam, 49; Shahjalal Hossain, 42; Md Rasel, 24; Joynal Abedin, 46; Sabur Hawlader, 40; and Newton Biswas, 40.

ASP Al-Amin, RAB's Legal and Media Wing Assistant Director said nine members of a ticket black-marketing group, including Mizan Dhali, who is one of the founders of the train ticket black-marketing group, have been arrested.

However, Bangladesh railway has contract with sohoz dot com for sell of train tickets.
