Cabinet approves budget for FY 24-25

The proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 was approved by the Cabinet at a special meeting held today (May 6).

The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

Finance Minister AH Mahmood Ali, along with other ministers and state ministers, were present in the meeting. 

The finance minister is set to place the 53rd national budget of Tk 7, 97,000 at 3 pm at Jatiya Sangsad (JS).
