A raid was conducted at several points on the Dhaka-Barishal highway against unfit and excessive speedy vehicles.

The media cell of the Barishal district administration confirmed the matter on Wednesday (June 19) evening.

According to the media cell, under the direction of Barishal District Magistrate Shahidul Islam, a mobile court was held on Tuesday at various points in Gournadi, Uzirpur, Babuganj, Bakerganj, and Barisal Sadar upazilas to control excessive speeding, stop the movement of unfit vehicles, and take road safety measures.

At this time, the car's speed limit was checked using the speedometer. Furthermore, long-haul vehicles are reminded to follow the speed limit on the highway.
