Two unidentified people were killed in two separate road incidents at the Capital's Mayor Hanif flyover and old Paltan area.

The police confirming the matter on Thursday (June 20) said the two deceased were vagabond. 

These two separate mishaps occurred yesterday around 11:30 am in Jatrabari and at 5:30 am in Paltan.

Paltan police station sub-inspector (SI) Shah Alam said the man, aged around 32, had been staying at the old Paltan intersection for many years.

However, the body was recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Mortuary, he said.

Jatrabari Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Hiraman Biswas said the unidentified 38-year-old man is a vagabond. 

At around 11:30 last night, the deceased himself climbed onto the Mayor Hanif flyover adjacent to Jatrabari township junction. Later, he was killed as a vehicle hit, said SI Biswas.
