MAGURA: An elderly mad was found dead in Sabdalpur Bridge area under Sripur upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Bablu Fakir, 55, son of one late Amanat Fakir from Shailkupa upazilla of Jhenidah district.

On Information, law enforcers recovered the body. Bablu Fakir was reported as a mentally ill person.

Nikunja Kumar Kundu, Sub-Inspector of Sripur Thana, told banglanews that the body was sent to Magura Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the thana in this connection, he added.
