Members of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) arrested two people with 17 kg of gold at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet on Thursday (February 6).
The gold was recovered from a Bangladesh Biman flight in the morning.
According to authorities, the NSI detained the two people after they crossed the airport’s green zone.
Osmani International Airport’s Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Injamam-Ul-Haque, confirmed the incident.
