Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, the adviser of youth and sports and coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, have called for the rebuilding of Bangladesh.

Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, on Friday morning (February 7), posted a message with the hashtag “#rebuildBangladesh” on social media at 9:00 AM.

A minute later, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan also posted on his verified account, writing, “Let’s move on Bangladesh, Let’s Rebuild Bangladesh.”

Sargis Alam followed with his own Facebook post at 9:30 AM, saying, “Let’s Rebuild Bangladesh.”

The posts have sparked new discussions on social media, with many supporters and followers commenting their opinions and suggestions in response.

One of the comments under Hasnat Abdullah's post, from Anwar Hossain, said, “Rebuild the country now, or never.” Shahin Shah commented, “The youth generation is the future of Bangladesh, and I hope they will build a beautiful Bangladesh.”

Jiaul Haque, another commenter, wrote, “United students, regardless of political differences.”

Several others commented that Bangladesh’s rebuilding would only begin with the banning of the Awami League.

In Sargis Alam’s post, Imtiaz wrote, “Under the leadership of youth, Bangladesh will move forward, Insha’Allah.”

Mohammad Hossain noted, “The student community has united again. After August 5, what was not possible should now be done quickly. After fixing the country, the student community will return home, Insha’Allah.”

Another comment read, “This generation cannot be suppressed. We are ready to do anything for the country’s needs. Every point raised is showing the political leaders their mistakes.”

In response to Asif Mahmud’s post, Shimul Sarina wrote, “A fascist-free Bangladesh, peaceful for all.”

On the topic of rebuilding the country, Tamanna Ferdous questioned, “How can something good be built without justice for the Awami League?”

Some others commented that the rebuilding would happen, but only by excluding the Awami League, accusing the party of seeking revenge against the people every time it came to power.

Many commenters also said that no movement would happen until the Awami League is banned.
